New Brunswick Department of EducationDistance Education

New Brunswick 's Distance Learning program offers expanded learning opportunities to all students of the province by allowing them access to optional or advanced level courses, which because of illness, travel or school scheduling, they might not otherwise be able to access.
New Brunswick 's Distance learning program, which is constantly being improved, updated and expanded, emphasizes a facilitated learning approach. In such an approach, Distance Mentors/ Facilitators through the use of learning rooms or web cameras (web cams) engage students in the learning process as well as answer specific queries students may have.
